The Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children will take place on November 18–19, 2026, in Manila, Philippines, bringing together governments, UN agencies, civil society organizations, funders, researchers, children, young people, and survivors to accelerate global action to end violence against children.
This first Ministerial resulted in more than 400 commitments and has delivered tangible results. With a strong focus on prevention — particularly through parent and caregiver support, safe and enabling schools and strengthened response systems -, the Second Ministerial Conference will provide a platform for governments to announce new commitments, share progress against previous commitments, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate action towards achieving a world where violence against children is of the past.
The Global Initiative to Support Parents (GISP) will be at the Ministerial, championing the critical role that parenting and caregiver support has in preventing violence against children and calling on Governments to include universal access to parenting and caregiver support as part of their commitments.
